My Mum

My Mum sketched from life (8 minutes)

My Mum started to sketch me the other day so I grabbed my sketchbook and sketched her at the same time.
You can see my Mums portrait of me HERE on her blog.

Good stuff Harry! I especially like the way that you have done the creases and folds in the trouser material.

Great Harry - I know that sofa really well and can see mum's cosy boots very realistic in your sketch. Keep it up. Great idea to use the artist as the model!!!

So wonderful to have a mum like you do. My mom and I went figure drawing about a year ago. She's seventy six and I'm 49. I hope your love of drawing and drawing with mum when possible lasts and lasts.

Keep up the drawing Harry

Way to go Harry. I have often wondered how your Mum looks while relaxed at sketching.

Hi Harry. I am one of your mom's long time fans. I see that you are following in her footsteps. It's so nice of you to be her model because that is the hardest thing to find...a live model who will sit.

She is also lucky to have you to go on sketchcrawls with. I would much rather have company when I go on one.

Good job. Keep it up and keep posting.
